These terms cover your use of the Drive Sync Android app, made by Ahmad AlModhayan (Modhayan Labs, "we"). By installing or using Drive Sync you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
What Drive Sync is
Drive Sync copies, updates and removes files between folders you choose on your Android phone and folders you choose in your Google Drive, following the sync mode and rules you set for each pair. It is provided free of charge.
Your Google account
You sign in with your own Google account and grant Drive Sync access to your Google Drive. Your use of Google Drive stays subject to Google's own terms. You can remove Drive Sync's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. How the app handles your data is described in the privacy policy.
Your responsibilities
- Choose your pairs and sync modes carefully. A sync can change or remove files on both sides, as the preview shows before the first run.
- Keep your own backups of files that matter to you. Drive Sync is a sync tool, not a backup service.
- Use Drive Sync only with files and accounts you are allowed to access, and in line with the law.
Safety features are not a guarantee
Drive Sync includes a first-sync preview, a recycle bin, conflict copies and a guard against large deletions. These reduce risk but cannot rule out data loss caused by software faults, device or network problems, or changes made in other apps.
No warranty
Drive Sync is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of Drive Sync. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes and ending use
We may update the app or these terms. Changed terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date. You can stop using Drive Sync at any time by uninstalling it and revoking its access in your Google Account.
